Wroclaw, Poland - Getting Around

Those arriving at Wroclaw’s international airport can reach the city centre easily. The bus leaves from the airport every half hour and makes one stop on ul Podwale before terminating close to the main bus station. The city’s main bus and railway stations are about 20 minutes walk from the old town in the city centre.

There is an extensive bus and tram network which covers the entire city. You must purchase your tickets (about 2zl each) in advance at a newspaper kiosk.

Wroclaw has 12 small islands which are easy to visit thanks to the extensive ferry connection service available. Here many tourists are drawn to the pretty walks and the Ostrow Tumski cathedral.
